About the Fredericksburg Region

Welcome to the Fredericksburg Region - an area bursting with innovation and vitality for more than 100 years! The Fredericksburg Region includes the City of Fredericksburg and the counties of Caroline, King George, Spotsylvania, and Stafford.

Our area is steeped in history. Here you can visit George Washington’s boyhood home of Ferry Farm, or hike the Civil War battlefields on which the fate of the nation was decided. Take time to visit the James Monroe Museum, which honors the last of the Founding Fathers to serve as president.

Entertainment options are plentiful, whether you want to enjoy the great outdoors, take in a concert or delight in an evening of fine dining. The beautiful Rappahannock River, nearby Lake Anna and the gorgeous Crow’s Nest offer respite for those looking to get back to nature.

The Fredericksburg Region is one of the most compassionate, generous communities you will ever find. Our citizens donate their money, time, and talents to help those in need and improve the area's quality of life. On behalf of the members and board of directors of the Fredericksburg Regional Chamber or Commerce, thank you for your interest in our community. If you're visiting, enjoy your stay. If you're looking for a place to settle, please consider making this your home.
