The Fredericksburg Regional Chamber of Commerce Technology Council, FredTech, is launching an Information Technology Scholarship.  This scholarship will be awarded to a senior or graduating junior, who has successfully completed a minimum of two Information Technology classes and plans to pursue post-secondary education or training in the area of Information Technology.  This will be awarded annually at the FredTech Annual Meeting and Awards Dinner. 

Cox Communications has enthusiastically volunteered to partner with FredTech, by offering to match FredTech funds for the presentation of the first

FredTech-Cox Communications Information Technology Scholarship.

This generous donation is just one example of Cox’s active involvement in the Fredericksburg community – with special focus on youth, education and technology.  Through this partnership, FredTech and Cox Communications will be awarding the scholarship recipient a check for $2,000.
