Healthcare Council Goals

  1. Develop plans to attract and retain healthcare providers and support personnel to this region.
  2. Assisting the business community with healthcare cost options.
  3. Evaluate problems in the Fredericksburg region associated with accessibility to behavioral health care.
  4. Continued advocacy of state and federal legislation; support advocacy initiatives that preserve and improve the quality of healthcare in our region.

For each of these goals there is a preliminary plan of action. The Board of Directors is continually engaged in the process of evaluating the plan of action for each of these goals and potentially expanding goals to meet additional needs.
