The Chamber has partnered with the professional team of LeadershipForward to implement Leadership Fredericksburg’s inaugural program which began on September 21, 2007.  Leadership Fredericksburg will take place at various locations around the region. The program’s focus will be to provide the Fredericksburg region with a pool of highly skilled and motivated leaders who are deeply committed to improving the quality and vitality of life in the community. Participants of the inaugural class, known as Fellows, will have a unique opportunity to apply their leadership skills to make a difference in the life of Fredericksburg through the use of action learning projects that have significant strategic opportunity for the Fredericksburg region.

This highly selective program has 23 Fellows that submitted a comprehensive application with supporting recommendations from community leaders. Each participant has been matched with
a community leader that will mentor them throughout the program.
