MAC Committees

The following committees are chaired by a member of the Board of Directors and consist of Military Affairs Council members:

Legislative – Cord Sterling, Chair

• Local, state and federal focus
• Monitor legislative processes
• Build and maintain relationships
• Educate and influence

Membership – Pete Humes, Chair

• Identify perspective members
• Solicit membership

Military Families Support - Stephen Batsche, Chair

• Identify available regional services for families with deployed service members
• Act as conduit between services and families
• Create database with information on services

Programs and Events – Susan Spears, Chair

• Regional roundtable meetings with distinguished speakers
• Major Events

Special Projects – Joe Grzeika and Vaughn Mahaffey, Co-Chair
