The Community Foundation is celebrating 25 years of advocating for philanthropy in the Rappahannock River Region by awarding a total of $125,000 in grants that support the long-term vision of our region’s nonprofits. The final grant cycle is now open with three (3) $25,000 grants, totaling $75,000, to support nonprofits who address challenges in the areas of education, health, or human services.
Applications must be submitted online by 5:00 p.m. January 23, 2023. Awards will be announced March 20, 2023. Nonprofits should visit www.cfrrr.org/apply/25th-anniversary-grantopportunities/ for complete eligibility requirements and information on additional grant opportunities. One of The Community Foundation’s priorities is to strengthen the capacity of nonprofits through grantmaking and leadership. Each year, the foundation awards more than $2,000,000 in grant funding to nonprofits. The 25th anniversary grants are in addition to the foundation’s robust grantmaking from its 190 charitable funds.
