This spring, FAHASS (Fredericksburg Area Health and Support Services) will host the 3rd Annual Community Connections Expo on March 17, 2026, from 9 AM–5 PM at the Fredericksburg Convention Center. The event brings together nonprofits, healthcare providers, and service organizations to connect individuals and families with essential resources—all in one place, at no cost to attendees.
Since launching in 2024, the Community Connections Expo has served more than 1,000 families across the region. Last year alone, over 400 families were supported through connections with 80 local vendors, along with the distribution of more than 1,200 articles of clothing and access to services such as health screenings, food assistance, and other basic needs. As economic pressures continue to rise, the need for coordinated, accessible community support has never been greater.
The Expo is made possible through collaboration with the Fredericksburg Regional Continuum of Care and the generous support of community partners and sponsors, including Dominion Care and Macaroni Kid. Local businesses play a critical role in sustaining this effort—whether by sponsoring the event, participating as a vendor, or helping spread the word.
Attendance is free and open to the public, with no registration required for individuals seeking services. Vendor registration is open through March 13, with pricing increasing after March 1.
