have been abused or neglected and are now in foster care or involved in c
ourt cases. Judges appoint CASA volunteers to investigate the child’s ci
rcumstances\, learn about their needs\, and provide informed recommendatio
ns to the court about safe placement and supportive services. By focusing
 on a child’s safety\, stability\, and well-being\, CASA helps guide chil
dren toward permanent homes and the healing resources they deserve.
