Join us for a special red-carpet performance and ribbon cutting ceremony on Thursday, February 2. The ribbon cutting ceremony will begin at 5:45pm and members of our cast will walk the red carpet immediately following. Help us celebrate 25 years in the Fredericksburg area!

Riverside Center for the Performing Arts is excited to present the regional debut of Escape to Margaritaville running until Sunday, March 5.  Trade in your snow boots for a pair of flip-flops and come enjoy the fun. Escape to Margaritaville, the book, is written by Greg Garcia and Mike O’Malley, music and lyrics are written by Jimmy Buffett. Escape to Margaritaville premiered in 2018 on Broadway and was voted Outstanding New Broadway Musical that same year. The show includes many of your most loved Jimmy Buffett songs, including “Fins”, “Cheeseburger in Paradise”, “It’s Five O’clock Somewhere”, and fun original songs as well. 

Riverside Center for the Performing Arts Producing Artistic Director, Patrick A’Hearn, is pleased to announce a stellar cast being led by Jake David Smith, as Tully and Juliette Redden as Rachel. Jake David Smith is a Richmond native and made his Broadway debut in Disney’s Frozen, as well as regional performances in The Little Mermaid (Prince Eric) and Pippin (Lewis). The cast also includes Brendan Hale (Brick), Gabrielle Gutierrez (Tammy), Cantrella Canady (Marley), and Alan Hoffman (J.D.). The ensemble includes Jarrett Bloom, Carter Crosby, Ian Lane, Grace McNamee, Wilson Pezzuto, Sally Roehl, Thea Simpson, and Stephanie Wood.The creative team is led by Director Robert A. K. Gonyo and Choreography is by the lovely Stephanie Wood. Music Direction is led by Carson Eubank and the Production

Stage Manager is Jessica Pell. The Scenic Designer is Christian Fleming, and Lighting Designer/Production Electrician is Weston Corey. Costumes are designed by Kyna Chilcot, Costume Shop & Wardrobe Supervisor is Erin Welsh. Sound Design is by J. Pat Bragg, and the Sound Engineer is Cheyenne Tenda. Discounted senior and group rates are available, as well as same day RUSH tickets and show only tickets. Evening performances start at 7:30pm with dinner service beginning at 5:30pm on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. Matinee performances start at 1:30pm with dinner service beginning at 11:30am on Wednesday and 3:00pm on Sunday with dinner service beginning at 1:00pm.
