Open Horizon Journeys will host a professional development session titled How Travel Impacts Leaders on Tuesday, December 2, 2025, at 12:00 p.m. in the Fredericksburg Regional Chamber of Commerce Boardroom.
Led by Christina Driskill, M.Ed., Founder of Open Horizon Journeys, the session explores how travel experiences help leaders strengthen adaptability, empathy, and perspective—the same qualities that drive effective leadership in today’s changing world. It will also highlight how stepping into unfamiliar environments fosters creativity, curiosity, and renewed purpose that leaders can bring back to their organizations.
A former educator turned travel advisor, Driskill brings her passion for growth and exploration into every leadership conversation she leads. With a master’s degree in Educational Leadership and Administration from The George Washington University and over a decade of experience facilitating professional development, she now designs immersive travel experiences that help leaders and travelers reconnect with purpose and vision.
The Lunch & Learn will include guided reflection, peer discussion, and networking with local professionals and mentors. A complimentary lunch will be provided, and attendance is limited to 20 participants.
Whether you’re leading a team, an organization, or a community initiative, this session offers a chance to pause, reflect, and reconnect with the purpose behind your leadership journey. Seats are complimentary but limited; reserve yours at https://tinyurl.com/pbm8eh47.
This event is part of Open Horizon Journeys’ ongoing commitment to helping leaders grow through transformative travel and leadership experiences, with additional sessions planned for 2026.
