Every day, the Library welcomes thousands, offering a space where the discovery of new ideas and knowledge opens up life-changing opportunities for people of all ages. For school-age kids and teens, the Library is a resource for homework help, STEM learning, and a welcoming space to find belonging. The Library empowers creators and makers to bring their dreams to life, providing the tools to record original music in an audio-visual booth, use creative equipment to craft personalized gifts, and digitize old family movies to preserve precious memories.
For over 55 years, the Library has enriched the City of Fredericksburg and the counties of Spotsylvania, Stafford, and Westmoreland with these vital resources and is now launching a community sponsorship program, inviting local businesses, organizations, and individuals to partner directly in supporting this thriving community hub. “The Library has always been our family’s second home—from cradle to college and beyond,” one customer said.
