Applications are now open for Leadership Fredericksburg’s Class of 2027, marking the program’s 20th year of developing strong, connected leaders across our region.

Leadership Fredericksburg is designed for professionals who are ready to deepen their understanding of the Fredericksburg region, build meaningful connections, and grow as leaders both personally and professionally.

For two decades, Leadership Fredericksburg has helped shape more than 500 alumni, including CEOs, nonprofit leaders, elected officials, public safety professionals, and emerging leaders who are now driving the future of our community.

This nine-month program brings together a diverse cohort of professionals from across industries to explore key issues, strengthen leadership skills, and build lasting relationships.

Participants engage in hands-on learning experiences throughout the Fredericksburg Region, including:

Caroline County
King George County
Spotsylvania County
Stafford County
City of Fredericksburg

Participants will:

Enhance their leadership development skills
Meet with top community leaders
Complete a personality profile assessment;
Receive a 360° rater leadership assessment which includes an individual executive coaching session
Work directly with an individual mentor from the business community
Participate in team projects.

Through monthly sessions, team projects, and interaction with community decision-makers, Leadership Fredericksburg develops leaders with vision and commitment to both their workplace and the community.
