The Fredericksburg Regional Chamber of Commerce is proud to announce that Carley Walker, Executive Vice President of Workforce and Community Development, has been selected to participate in the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation’s Master Class on Building Business Leadership for K-12 Data, Assessment, and Accountability.
This highly competitive program brings together 35 leaders from 24 states who are committed to strengthening connections between business and education. Walker is one of only seven participants selected from Virginia.
The Master Class focuses on equipping business leaders with the tools, knowledge, and best practices needed to support data-driven decision-making in K-12 education systems. Participants will engage in collaborative learning, share innovative strategies, and build a national network of leaders dedicated to improving student outcomes and workforce readiness.
“We are excited for Carley to represent our region in this important work,” said Susan Spears, President & CEO of the Fredericksburg Regional Chamber. “Her leadership continues to strengthen the bridge between education and our business community.”
Walker added, “I’m honored to be selected for this opportunity and look forward to learning, networking, and bringing back best practices that will benefit our community.”
