The Regionalism Matters: From Strategy to Action – Advancing Regional Collaboration will bring together regional leaders, educators, workforce professionals, and economic development partners for a collaborative conversation about the future of our region.

The program will begin with an overview of the region’s Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy (CEDS), presented by Sarah Oldaker of the George Washington Regional Commission. Her presentation will highlight the vision and goals behind the strategy, key regional priorities and opportunities, and the critical role regional collaboration plays in advancing economic growth and long-term competitiveness.

Following the presentation, a panel discussion featuring Chip Boyles, Susan Spears, and Tom Scott will explore the importance of regionalism, which CEDS strategies should receive the greatest focus and momentum, and how regional leaders can move from strategy to measurable action. Together, the conversation will focus on strengthening partnerships across education, workforce, business, and government to drive coordinated regional success.
