A Father’s Legacy, Inc. is excited to announce its inaugural Fathers and Families Fun Walk/Run, set to take place on Saturday, June 7, 2025, at 7:00 AM in Fredericksburg, Virginia. The event, with the theme “Celebrating Fathers, One Step at a Time!”, will raise awareness and support for responsible fatherhood and the positive impact of engaged fathers in the community.
The Fun Walk/Run is a family-friendly event designed to bring together fathers, families, children, and the broader community to promote health, wellness, and positive parenting. This event will help highlight the organization’s commitment to addressing the issue of fatherlessness and fostering leadership skills among adolescent fathers in the Fredericksburg, Spotsylvania, and Stafford areas.
The event will feature a scenic walk/run route through Fredericksburg’s beautiful Pratt park. Participants can choose to walk or run, with prizes awarded to top finishers. There will also be entertainment, food, and family-friendly activities to ensure a fun experience for all ages.

Funds raised through the event will benefit A Father’s Legacy, Inc. and its programs aimed at providing education, resources, and mentorship for adolescent fathers. These initiatives help fathers develop the skills they need to become positive, engaged parents.
