(Fredericksburg, VA) April 23, 2026 – Caroline Street, the centerpiece of historic downtown Fredericksburg, has been named the Best Main Street in the South by Garden & Guns after topping a regional competition that celebrated the South’s most vibrant small-town downtowns.
The competition featured sixteen main streets from across the South in a March Madness-Style bracket and included multiple rounds of public voting. Fredericksburg advanced through each round before securing a victory in the final matchup.
