FREDERICKSBURG, Va. – July 21, 2026 – What started as a little friendly competition is turning into a great opportunity for collaboration between the City and DeLand, Fla.
Following the “Best Main Street in the South” contest, Mayor Kerry Devine and Fredericksburg Main Street Executive Director Chris Allen will visit DeLand July 23-25, 2026, to meet with their counterparts, Mayor Christopher Cloudman and Stephanie Garcia Mullins.
The visit will include a media event, public appearance, and discussions between the two mayors and Main Street directors as they share ideas, celebrate their vibrant downtowns, and strengthen connections between two award-winning Main Street communities.
