Fredericksburg, VA, (February 18, 2026) – Mary Washington Healthcare is proud to announce that two of its King George locations have been recognized as winners in the 2026 King George Best of the Best awards. Mary Washington Primary Care, King George has been named Best Primary/Family Medical Care, and Mary Washington Urgent Care has been named Best Urgent or Specialty Medical Center.

The King George Best of the Best awards celebrate outstanding businesses, organizations, and service providers that make King George County a vibrant and thriving community. This year’s program saw an impressive outpouring of community engagement, with residents submitting more than 350 nominations, leading to nearly 200 finalists across 42 categories. Close to 2,750 votes were cast in support of local businesses that exemplify excellence in service, quality, and community commitment.
The recognition of Mary Washington Primary Care and Mary Washington Urgent Care reflects the dedication of physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses, and staff who work tirelessly to deliver exceptional care to families across King George and the surrounding region.
Finalists and winners will be honored during the King George Economic Development Authority Annual Business Appreciation Reception in early May.
