(Fredericksburg, VA) August 14, 2026 – The City of Fredericksburg will begin its annual paving and sidewalk rehabilitation program in several locations throughout the City beginning on Monday, August 17. This project will continue through September 30 to cover all the streets listed below.
The work is a part of the City’s ongoing efforts to maintain and improve roadway and pedestrian infrastructure. Drivers and pedestrians may experience temporary delays and sidewalk closures related to construction activities and minor disruptions as crews complete the work.

Parking Restrictions:
To facilitate construction and ensure public safety, No Parking signage will be posted in designated work zones. All motorists are urged to observe posted signs. Vehicles parked in violation of these notices will be subject to towing at the owner’s expense.
