The Fredericksburg Regional Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting on Thursday, February 23rd for the new Spotsylvania Regional Medical Center Fredericksburg ER (on Plank Rd.), featuring 11 private treatment rooms, Board-certified emergency medicine physicians who are trained in both adult and pediatric care, advanced imaging for diagnostics and testing including CT, X-ray, ultrasound, on-site laboratory testing and free ambulance service to SRMC.

Ryan welcomed the audience, “We are formally introducing to you our newest addition to the Spotsylvania Regional Medical Center Family, the Fredericksburg ER. This is our latest and greatest and a first for Spotsylvania Regional Medical Center.  Today is helping us to write a new page in our organizations history.”

Sheriff Roger Harris said, “We enjoy being a partner with Spotsylvania Regional Medical Center and are excited to have the medical resources available for easy and quick access to emergency rooms. Spotsylvania Regional Medical Center has been an integral part of our community since 2010 and I fully anticipate the expansion of the hospital will be no different.  SRMC is like the Spotsylvania Sheriff’s Office in the fact that we are dedicated to the care and protection of human life.  The integrity and compassion of the staff of this hospital shows is beyond comparison.”
