Spreading Kindness, One Cookie at a Time

At the heart of Hope and More Bakery is a passion for baking—and a mission to spread hope, gratitude, and joy one cookie at a time. This home-based bakery, run by local entrepreneur Vicki, specializes in small-batch, scratch-made cookies crafted with premium ingredients and a whole lot of heart.

With over 30 years of baking experience and more than a year and a half of officially serving the community, Vicki’s creations range from nostalgic classics like snickerdoodles and oatmeal raisin to elevated favorites like sea-salted brown butter chocolate chip, candied peanut butter, and decadent white chocolate macadamia. The bakery is also known for its indulgent stuffed cookies—each weighing over a quarter of a pound and filled with treats like Oreos, homemade ganache, and cake.

Hope and More Bakery is also a go-to for beautifully hand-decorated sugar cookies, perfect for holidays, special events, and personalized gifts. Every cookie is thoughtfully designed and packaged by hand, showcasing the time, effort, and artistry behind each order.

Taking Sweet Risks

One of the biggest game-changers for the business was the bold decision to invest in a high-end edible printer. This leap of faith has paid off tremendously, allowing Vicki to print intricate, custom designs—logos, photos, and more—directly onto cookies. This has opened the door to corporate gifting, branded event favors, and bulk custom orders, elevating the business while maintaining its personal touch.

The Art Behind the Cookie

One common myth about the baking industry is that it’s all about mixing dough and popping it into the oven. In reality, each order involves hours of planning, designing, baking, decorating, and packaging. From piping icing to tying ribbons, every detail is done with care, making each cookie a true labor of love.

Recharging Through Gratitude

Running a solo business comes with its share of overwhelm—but Vicki finds calm and clarity by revisiting her “why.” Looking through photos and messages from happy customers reminds her that her cookies are part of meaningful celebrations and special moments. That shift in perspective keeps her inspired and grounded.

What She Wishes More People Knew

“I wish more customers understood how much detail and heart go into every single order,” Vicki shares. “Each cookie is a small work of art—made with intention, care, and a whole lot of love. This is more than a business for me. It’s a way to share kindness and create something memorable.”
