Fredericksburg, VA – April 2022 – Agritourism resort, The Lodge at Moss Neck, will host a series of events, named “5 Hour Festival,” featuring live concerts by Grammy winning and nominated musical performers. Guests will dine on farm-to-table meals prepared with the freshest ingredients grown on-site, while soaking in panoramic views of Moss Neck’s pristine countryside where Clydesdale horses and farm animals play, graze, and roam on 1,200 acres of sprawling pastures.

Kicking off on Thursday, April 28th, the first music festival will be Miami, Cuban, and Caribbean themed where guests will enjoy an array of unlimited, Island inspired cuisine, bars serving wines, spirited cocktails, and crafted beers, and entertainment by Tiempo Libre, America’s hottest Latin band. Classically trained at Cuba’s premier conservatories, the members of three-time Grammy® nominated Tiempo Libre are true modern heirs to the rich musical tradition of their native Cuba. The Miami-based group is celebrated for its sophisticated performances of timba music, an irresistible, dance-inducing mix of Latin jazz and Son Cubano. Tiempo Libre has introduced Cuban music to new audiences through appearances on shows including Tonight Show, Live from Lincoln Center, and Dancing with the Stars.

“We are opening the doors to Moss Neck for the first time to the public for a series of music festivals,” said Silver Companies Executive Vice President Spencer Silver. “We wanted to bring a unique entertainment experience to the area and give people a reason to get out and celebrate after being isolated for so long from the pandemic.”

The second music festival will take place on Thursday, May 19th, with a New Orleans Mardi Gras style celebration, serving unlimited cuisine inspired by the tastes of New Orleans. Attendees will indulge in an extravagant selection of Fat Tuesday themed cocktails and sugar-coated king cake, while dancing in glittery masks and beaded necklaces to the sounds of Grammy® Winning Jon Cleary & The Absolute Monster Gentlemen.

Jon Cleary’s love for New Orleans music goes back to the rural British village of Cranbrook, Kent, where he was raised in a musical family. His work pays homage to the classic Crescent City keyboard repertoire    created by such icons as Jelly Roll Morton, Fats Domino, Professor Longhair, Art Neville, Dr. John, and James Booker – while also using it as a launching pad for a style that incorporates such other diverse  influences as ’70s soul and R&B, gospel music, funk, Afro-Caribbean and Afro-Cuban rhythms, and much more.

Both events will take place from 5pm-10pm with festivities inside and outside the picturesque lodge, and musical guests will be performing under a 6,600 sq ft tent with spectacular views of Moss Neck’s natural surroundings. Tables of ten are available for reservation for $3,000 and include VIP seating for the live concert, 20 drink tickets per table, and unlimited food at 12 food stations serving themed cuisine.

“This will be an exciting event series that is not to be missed,” said Silver.  “It’s a perfect opportunity to treat your VIP clients or say thank you to your top-performing team members!”
