Fredericksburg, VA, April 11, 2022 – Rappahannock Goodwill Industries (RGI) has elected Fredericksburg resident Tony Lewis to its Board of Directors, effective as of April 4, 2022. Tony was recently promoted to Dean of Students at Walker-Grant Middle School. Tony Lewis started with Fredericksburg City Schools in 2013.

“I’m thrilled to welcome Tony to the Rappahannock Goodwill Board of Directors,” said board chair Martha Hutzel. “Tony has a life story that immediately connects with the people Goodwill helps each day. His insight will be vital as Goodwill seeks to help more people find jobs in our local area.”

“Tony Lewis is a terrific addition to our local Goodwill Board of Directors,” said Steve Cox, President and CEO of Rappahannock Goodwill. “Our mission is to help people find jobs. Tony will be instrumental in guiding and growing our local work so we can help more people start and succeed in new careers.”

Rappahannock Goodwill Industries, Inc. (RGI) is a private, not-for-profit organization that serves the City of Fredericksburg and a 12-county region. RGI provides work opportunities, job search assistance, and employment skills training. Its operations include janitorial services, a recycling center, virtual and in-person job help services, twelve Goodwill stores, a Goodwill Outlet, the Goodwill online store, and numerous donation centers.
