Caroline High School is proud to share several exciting accomplishments from our Career and Technical Education (CTE) and Work-Based Learning programs (June 2026).
Outstanding CNA Success
Our Nurse Aide (CNA) program recently achieved a remarkable 100% pass rate on the CNA certification exam. This accomplishment reflects the hard work and dedication of our students and instructors. Even more exciting, four newly certified students have already been hired by Bowling Green Health & Rehabilitation Center, allowing them to immediately begin careers in the healthcare field.
Signing Day Celebrates Student Career Success
On May 1st, Caroline High School celebrated Signing Day, recognizing students who have committed to continuing their career pathways after graduation.
We are proud to announce:
● Five seniors who participated in internships with Sheehy Ford have transitioned into full-time technician positions.
● Two seniors and two juniors have joined Davis Electric, where they will continue developing their skills and careers in the electrical trade.● One student is continuing his apprenticeship with Anton Paar as a full-time apprentice while beginning college coursework this fall.
● Two students enlisted in the US Marine Corps.
● Two students enlisted in Air Force.
Work-Based Learning continues to thrive at Caroline High School, providing students with real-world experiences that lead directly to employment opportunities. We are incredibly grateful to our business partners who have gone above and beyond to invest in the future workforce by mentoring, training, and hiring our students.
CTE Camp Inspires Future Career Exploration
This week, June 8–11, Caroline High School is hosting its annual CTE Camp for rising 5th through 8th grade students. A total of 87 students signed up to participate in the CTE Camp experience. Several students from the previous year signed up again for their second year.
Camp participants rotate through several Career and Technical Education pathways, including:
● Culinary Arts
● JROTC
● Criminal Justice
● Automotive Technology
● Carpentry
Throughout the week, students gain valuable hands-on experience, learn new skills, and create projects they can take home. Best of all, this program is provided free of charge to Caroline County Public Schools students. Now in its fourth year, CTE Camp continues to grow and expand each summer.
Community Partners Make a Difference
The final day of camp features a Career Exploration Celebration, where local businesses and organizations provide hands-on demonstrations, activities, and career awareness opportunities for campers.

Following the morning activities, campers, staff, and volunteers will enjoy a celebratory cookout.
