| Fredericksburg, Virginia, July 2, 2025 – At its June 9 meeting, the Board of Trustees of the Central Rappahannock Regional Library (CRRL) approved expanded evening hours for its Spotsylvania County branches to include additional evenings, effective Monday, August 4, 2025.
“This is a major win for the citizens of Spotsylvania County,” said Lori Hayes, Lee Hill District Supervisor and member of the Library Board of Trustees. “We’re thrilled to be able to offer the extended access our community deserves. I want to thank my colleagues on the Library Board for their support in making this possible.”
Rebecca Purdy, Executive Director for Central Rappahannock Regional Library, added, “CRRL staff are excited that library customers now have additional time to find books, use computers, and connect with their neighbors at library events and community meetings.”
Snow and Salem Church branches will now align their hours with those of CRRL’s Fredericksburg, Howell, and Porter branches. Spotsylvania Towne Centre Branch will follow a similar schedule, with a 10:00 a.m. opening in accordance with Towne Centre’s hours.
Beginning August 4, 2025, hours for CRRL’s Spotsylvania branches will be as follows:
