FREDERICKSBURG, VA — February 26, 2026 — Central Rappahannock Regional Library has been awarded a $10,000 grant from the Community Foundation’s Fredericksburg Savings Charitable Foundation Fund to purchase eReading devices for check out, giving customers instant access to the library’s vast collection of eBooks and eAudiobooks. These easy-to-use tablets will come preloaded with library apps and a selection of eMaterials and will have accessibility options, such as adjustable print sizes and dyslexic-friendly fonts.
This project aims to put high-quality technology and literacy resources into the hands of more community members, with full implementation scheduled for spring of 2026.
