Q- What inspired you to start your own business, and how did you turn that inspiration into reality?
A- After understanding the Human Resources market, we realized that small to medium size businesses are in need of seasoned HR professionals with extensive experience. Our inspiration came from the ability to provide high level HR services to these companies at a price point that matches a growing company’s budget. We turned our inspiration into reality by partnering with growing organizations and providing guidance and structure to their human resource needs.
Q- Can you share some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced as a small business owner and how you overcame them?
A- The biggest challenge for us has been reaching our target audience. We overcame it by joining networking organizations such as the Fredericksburg Regional Chamber of Commerce. By doing this, we have had the pleasure of attending networking events and connecting with small to medium size businesses who are in need of our services.
Q- How do you prioritize building relationships with customers and your local community, and what strategies have you found most effective?
A- Our clients are our main priority. They trust us with one of their most important departments. In order to retain their trust, we pride ourselves in our personalized interaction and exceptional customer service. We have a remote “open door policy”. Our clients have access to our team at any time. Our accessibility adds a personal touch and that is what has been most effective for us. We see ourselves as partners, not vendors.
